Delhi: Former New Zealand captain Tim Southee was honored by the England players by giving him a guard of honor in his last Test match. The Test match between New Zealand and England started on Saturday (14 December), this is Saudi’s last international match. Making it memorable, Saudi batted brilliantly in New Zealand’s first innings on the first day. Saudi, who came to the crease after 8 wickets fell, scored 23 runs in just 10 balls at a strike rate of 230.

Saudi reached fourth place among those who hit most sixes

Tim Southee has now reached fourth place in the list of players who have hit the most number of sixes in Test cricket. To reach the third position, he needs only 3 more sixes, which he can accomplish in the second innings. Australia’s Adam Gilchrist (100 sixes), Brendon McCullum (107 sixes) and England’s Ben Stokes (133 sixes) top this list.
