Delhi: Pakistan created history on 21 March at Eden Park, Auckland. The visiting team achieved the target of 205 runs against New Zealand in just 16 overs. This is the fastest successful run chase of 200+ runs in T20 International. But after this, the team of New Zealand has suffered a major setback, because the team’s experienced fast bowler Matt Henry is out of the entire series.
Matt Henry out of series
New Zealand star fast bowler Matt Henry will no longer be able to play in the five -match T20 series against Pakistan. Henry was included in the team for the last two T20 matches, but has been dropped due to his injury. He suffered a shoulder injury while playing against South Africa in the semi -finals of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Due to this injury, the Champions Trophy against India could not even play in the final. The 33 -year -old bowler also has trouble in his knee, which also has uncertainty about playing in his upcoming ODI series (starting from 29 March).
In his absence, fast bowler Zack Folks has been maintained in the team. Folks took one wicket for 11 runs in the first T20 match, while in the second T20 he conceded 32 runs in three overs. He was not part of the playing eleven in the third T20.
