Sam Ayub missed a century

Pakistan won the toss and batted first. Sam Ayub scored 98 runs in 57 balls with the help of 11 fours and 5 sixes. During this, Ayub took a run on the third ball of the 19th over, but this run gave him life when the South African player dropped his catch. After this, Irfan Khan batted brilliantly on the remaining three balls of the over and scored 11 runs.

No strike on last 9 balls

On the first ball of the 20th over, Irfan did not give strike to Ayub and hit a four. He was out on the next ball. After this Abbas Afridi came to the crease, but he also did not give strike to Ayub and hit a six on the first ball. Abbas took one run on the last ball of the over and ended the innings. During this period, Ayub did not get a strike on the last 9 balls.

However, after the match, Sam Ayub showed great heart and said that he is confident that he will get more opportunities in the future and he will be able to score a century soon.
