Delhi: Pakistan cricket team opener Imam ul Haq Has hoped to win both the remaining matches of the ODI series against New Zealand. In the first match of the three -match ODI series, New Zealand defeated Pakistan by 73 runs. The Imam could not play in this match, as he was hurt in the right leg. However, now he has expressed confidence in the team’s victory by pointing to the return.

In a conversation with the media, Imam ul Haq said, “Whatever happened does not want to talk much on it, but we hope that we can win both the rest of the series.” He admitted that it is difficult to play in the beginning under the circumstances of New Zealand, but the team has practiced enough here.

The Imam said, “There is a slight bounce on the pitch, but it becomes easy to score runs after playing 15-20 balls. Our bowling unit is new. The rest of the bowlers except Nasim Shah and Haris Rauf do not have much experience, but they can perform well.”

The Imam believes that there is no shortage of experience in Pakistan’s ODI team. He said, “We have players who have won many matches for Pakistan. We do not need to look back. This team has full potential to make a comeback.”

He also informed that after the Champions Trophy, efforts are being made to boost the morale of the team. He said, “The success of struggle in difficult circumstances will encourage the team.”

Significantly, the second ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played today, where Pakistan will be eyeing the series.
