Delhi: Josh Hazlewood will return to Australia’s playing eleven in the third match of the India vs Australia Test series. He was out of the second match due to side strain, but is now completely fit. Captain Pat Cummins has confirmed that Scott Boland will have to sit out for Hazlewood’s return, even though he took 5 wickets in the match played in Adelaide.

‘Virat Kohli can score a double century by learning from Sachin’, the veteran batsman advised

Captain Cummins confirmed fitness

Hazlewood’s return is the only change in the team, and Australia would like to win this match and take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series. Fast bowler Hazlewood has been struggling with several injuries in recent years, due to which the selectors have been cautious about his comeback. But, Cummins said that his preparations are complete.
The Australian captain said on Friday, “He has not had any problem, he practiced well yesterday and also bowled in Adelaide a few days ago. “Both the medical team and Hazlewood are very confident.”

Boland will be out even after great performance

Scott Boland, who performed brilliantly in Adelaide, took big wickets like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli in his comeback match. However, he has been dropped from the team six times in the last 18 months. Cummins indicated that Boland may get a chance to play again in this series.
He said, “It is difficult. He bowled brilliantly in Adelaide. Unfortunately, he has spent most of the last 18 months on the bench. But, whenever he plays, he performs brilliantly. This is disappointing for them, but there is still a lot of games left in the series. I think he will get another chance.”

The third match of the series will be played in Gabba from 14th December. This match will start at 5:50 am Indian time.
