Delhi: The West Indies Cricket Board has recently snatched the captaincy of the T20 team from Rowman Powell and made Shai Hope the new captain. After this change, Test Captain Craig Brathwaite has also resigned. Former West Indies all -rounder Dwayne Bravo has expressed displeasure over the decision. Posting on social media, Dwayne Bravo said, “Once again the West Indies Cricket Board has proved that there is injustice to the players here.” Bravo also said that when the West Indies T20 team was ranked 9th during the captaincy of Rowman Powell, they took the team to third place. Despite this, he was removed from the captaincy. Bravo raised the question of how long this kind of bad behavior with the players will last.
West Indies cricket status
Currently the West Indies cricket team is not going through a good period. The team could not qualify for the 2023 ODI World Cup and could not participate in the Champions Trophy.
