Prabhasimran Singh’s explosive innings: LSG vs PBKS match changer.

Today i.e. April 1, a brilliant match of IPL 2025 was played between Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. This match was named by Punjab Kings with 8 wickets. In this match, all the players from Punjab Kings played an important role in their team’s victory by performing a bang. Players of Lucknow Super Giants performed disappointing.

Batting first, Lucknow Super Giants scored 171 runs losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. Explosive batsman Nicholas Puran played an aggressive innings of 44 runs for the team. Apart from Nicholas Puran, young player Ayush Badoni contributed 41 runs. Both these batsmen attacked the Punjab Kings bowlers fiercely.

Abdul Samad scored 27 runs for the host while Aidan Markram contributed 28 runs. Captain Rishabh Pant once again flopped and returned to the pavilion after scoring two runs. David Miller was also dismissed on a personal score of 19 runs. For Punjab Kings, Arshdeep Singh took three wickets for 43 runs in four overs.

Punjab Kings, chasing the target, were not so good and Priyansh Arya was dismissed by 8 runs. However, after the first wicket fell soon, opener Prabhasimran Singh batted aggressively played a match winning innings of 69 runs. During his innings, the Dhakad player hit 9 fours and 3 sixes. His innings was the turning point of this match.

Punjab Kings defeated Lucknow Super Giants

Prabhasimran Singh did not leave any bowler of Lucknow Super Giants while batting deadly and attacked all. Impact player Nehal Wadera also contributed 43* runs while batting explosive. Captain Shreyas Iyer’s bat once again spoke and he played an excellent innings of 52* runs. Punjab Kings won the match within 17 overs. For Lucknow, Digvesh Singh Rathi took 2 wickets for 30 runs in four overs.

This is Punjab Kings’ second consecutive win in IPL 2025. Talking about Lucknow Super Giants, he has won just one in three matches so far while he has lost two matches.
