Prithvi Shaw lagged behind in discipline

Praveen Amre, who worked with Prithvi at Delhi Capitals, said that Shaw lost focus on his game due to the glamorous lifestyle of cricket. Amre told that at the age of just 25, Shaw bought a penthouse in a posh area like Bandra, but along with success, he lagged behind in discipline.

Earned Rs 30-40 crore by the age of 23

Amre also said that he had given Shaw the example of former cricketer Vinod Kambli, so that he does not make mistakes like him. But, even this had no effect. According to Amre, “Prithvi had earned Rs 30-40 crore by the age of 23. Earning so much at such a young age can distract one’s attention. It is important that players manage money properly, make good friends and give priority to cricket.

Shaw, who led India to victory in the Under-19 World Cup in 2018, was once considered the future of Indian cricket. But, now discipline and focus is needed to get his career back on track.
