Delhi: Pakistan’s youth opener Saim Job has returned to Lahore after completing his rehabilitation in London after recovering from ankle injury. Now Pakistani fans are waiting to see them in Pakistan Super League (PSL), however, will have to pass the fitness test before playing in PSL. According to a source in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Saim was kept under the supervision of the UK sports engine experts. He will have to pass some fitness tests in Lahore to participate in PSL.
According to the source, if the PCB medical panel feels that Saim needs more rest, then he will be given some more time rest before playing in PSL.
How was Saim hurt?
In January, Saim’s ankle suffered an injury during fielding on the first day of the second Test against South Africa. Earlier, he had scored two centuries in the ODI series against South Africa and performed brilliantly in Australia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. PCB sent him to London after consulting experts, where doctors advised him for rehabilitation. Due to this injury, Saim was also dropped from the ICC Champions Trophy.
