Delhi: Bidding on players has started on the second day of the mega auction being held for the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League. On the second day, South Africa’s Marco Yansen made a splash in the bidding for the remaining players and won an amount of Rs 7 crore. This Proteas all-rounder player was bought by Punjab Kings, while Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya was bought by RCB for Rs 5.75 crore.

Marco Jansen joins Punjab and Krunal joins RCB
The race between Punjab Kings, Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings regarding Marco Yansen went on for a long time and in the end Punjab Kings won this race by bidding a price of Rs 7 crore. There was a fight between RCB and Rajasthan regarding Krunal and finally RCB bought Krunal for Rs 5.75 crore.
Marco Yansen’s career
South African star all-rounder Marco Jansen started his career in IPL with Mumbai Indians in 2021. After this he joined Sunrisers in 2022 itself. Since then, he has been playing from the same place and till now he has taken 20 wickets in 21 matches and scored 66 runs.
Krunal Pandya’s career
Krunal Pandya has been playing in IPL for many years. He first played in the IPL in 2016 for Mumbai Indians. After this, he continued playing with the same team, after which he played with Lucknow Supergiants in 2022. So far, apart from scoring 1667 runs in 127 matches, he has been successful in taking 76 wickets.
