Delhi: The atmosphere before the Boxing Day Test between India and Australia is full of controversies. Most of the controversies have come from the Australian media. A big issue arose regarding Indian star batsman Virat Kohli when he stopped a local journalist from shooting a video of his children. Although Kohli and the journalist later resolved the misunderstanding, Kohli still had to face criticism.

Ravindra Jadeja and Akash Deep became targets
Apart from Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja and Akash Deep have also been targeted by the Australian media. Both were accused of refusing to give interviews in English.
At the same time, experienced Australian presenter Ian Morris has raised questions on the bowling action of Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. He said that Bumrah’s bowling action should be analyzed closely.
Questions on Bumrah’s bowling action
Why has no one questioned the delivery of India paceman Bumrah? Is it not politically correct these days? I’m not saying he’s throwing but at least the position of the arm at the point of delivery should be analyzed. Nine would have had it under the microscope some years ago

Morris wrote on “X” (earlier on Twitter), “Why didn’t anyone question Bumrah’s bowling action? Is it not politically correct to do so these days? I am not saying that he is bowling the ball, but his bowling action should be analyzed.”
After this he clarified and said, “Those who are angry at what I said should read carefully. I had said that I am not saying that he is throwing the ball, I am just saying that his action should be checked.”
This is not the first time that Bumrah’s action has been questioned in Australia. Even during the first Test, some fans accused him of “chucking” when he single-handedly won the match for India.
Bumrah is India’s most successful bowler in the current Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He has taken 21 wickets so far, whose average is 10.90. In this series, he has the feat of taking five wickets twice and four wickets once.
