Rajat Patidar became spin-hitter due to Rahul Dravid: RCB captain’s big disclosure

Silver Patidar said while talking on RCB podcast,

“I saw his (Rahul Dravid) batting a lot in Test matches, especially on the spin track. The way he used his footwork, whether it is front foot or back foot, and the way he used the crease, I gave me a lot to learn from him.”

Patidar also told that when he started playing club cricket, most of the matches were played on any prepared surface, so he gradually became accustomed to playing spin. At the same time, before Ranji debut, he had three best spinners in his team, so the home-cicat spin friendly, which also helped him to improve his skill. He used to practice sweep shot for 2-3 hours during training.

Patidar has started batting in the nets
