Delhi: Former Indian batsman Ambati Rayudu has given a big statement about the player who can soon become a superstar by playing in all three formats for India. Rayudu has made this prediction regarding young batsman Tilak Verma. He believes that Tilak will soon play in all three formats and will achieve success in every format.
During a conversation on Star Sports, 39-year-old Ambati Rayudu said, “Tilak Verma is a superstar cricketer. I have seen him progressing in Hyderabad. He has played four brilliant innings so far, ever since Suryakumar Yadav became the captain, he is taking advantage of the trust he has shown in Tilak.
Rayudu further said, “I think India has got a big superstar. Tilak Verma is not limited to T20 only. The maturity he displayed in the second T20 match against England makes it clear that he can become a match-winner for India for many years. He should be given a chance in every format.”
In the second T20 match, Tilak Verma played an excellent inning of 72* runs unbeaten against England. On the basis of his innings, the Indian team won this match by 2 wickets. For this brilliant performance, Tilak was given the title of Player of the Match.
