Delhi: In the IPL 2024, the Gujarat Titans (GT) won a stunning win by defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 8 wickets. After the defeat, RCB captain Rajat Patidar spoke openly on his team’s performance and admitted that the team had come under pressure when the initial wicket fell early.

Reacting after the match, Rajat Patidar said, “We wanted to score around 190, not 200, but after the powerplay, our plan deteriorated due to the falling wicket.
RCB scored 169/8 in 20 overs, but Gujarat batsmen easily achieved it in 17.5 overs. Among the team’s batsmen, Liam Livingstone (54), Jitesh Sharma (33) and Tim David (32) performed well to some extent, but the team could not score a big score.
Bowlers praised
Rajat praised his team bowlers, saying, “Things were good, but our bowlers bowled well. It was difficult to defend 169, but he pulled the match till the 18th over, it was fantastic to see.”
RCB bowling was not very effective. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood took 1-1 wickets, but the rest of the bowlers could not put pressure on the Gujarat batsmen.
