Delhi: Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma has shared a special message before the 50th anniversary of Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, in which he talked about his memories related to this stadium and its importance. This video was shared by Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) on social media.

Rohit Sharma told that the 50th anniversary of Wankhede Stadium will be celebrated on 19th January, whereas the celebrations have already started on 12th January. He said, “January 19 is the 50th anniversary of Wankhede Stadium, which is a proud moment for all Mumbaikars, especially those who have been involved in Mumbai cricket for many years.”
Rohit shared his experience
Sharing his personal experience, Rohit said, “I have a deep connection with this ground because I started my cricket career playing on this ground and the journey so far has been wonderful. I played here in the old Wankhede Stadium, which had its own identity and charm. There are many important memories associated with this ground, be it Indian cricket, the Mumbai Indians team, or the age group cricket of Mumbai Cricket Association.”
