Rohit Sharma played 67 Test matches for India
Announcing his Test retirement on Instagram on 7 May 2025, Rohit Sharma wrote, “Hello, I just want to share that I am retiring from Test cricket. It is a matter of respect for me to represent my country in White Jersey. Thank you all for the love and support received over the years. I will continue to represent India in ODI format.”
Rohit Sharma’s sudden decision made his fans emotional. He played his last Test against Australia in Melbourne during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. Rohit played 67 matches for India in his Test career, scoring 4301 runs at an average of 40.57, including 12 centuries and 18 half -centuries.
