Delhi: India’s great batsman Sachin Tendulkar will teach the tricks of cricket to young players in a special cricket camp during the National Cricket League (NCL) final in Texas. This program will be organized at the University of Texas at Dallas, the main objective of which is to inspire young cricketers in America and promote cricket at the grassroots level.
Sharing his thoughts before the event, Tendulkar said, “Cricket has given me a lot and now it is time to give it back. “I am excited to meet these young players and show them that with hard work and passion, any goal can be achieved.”
National Cricket League President Arun Agarwal described Tendulkar’s participation as important and said, “It is not just limited to cricket, but it is a way to inspire the youth to realize their dreams. The guidance of a legend like Sachin is very important for the youth.”
Apart from Tendulkar, many legends have also been a part.
In the past too, great cricketers like Sunil Gavaskar, Wasim Akram and Sir Vivian Richards have been associated with NCL. Players like Shahid Afridi, Suresh Raina, Shakib Al Hasan and Chris Lynn also served in this session. NCL has the support of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
