Delhi: Veteran fast bowler Mohammed Shami is currently out of Team India due to injury. He last played for India in the 2023 ODI World Cup final. Due to this injury, Shami could not even play the 2024 IPL. Shami was a part of Gujarat Titans, but now the franchise has released him. Shami will return in the mega auction of 2025, but before that he is angry at former Team India batsman Sanjay Manjrekar.
‘Why are you not coming to Pakistan?’, Suryakumar Yadav gave a befitting reply to fan’s question
Manjrekar had recently given a statement that Shami will not get the desired price in the upcoming auction. He said this keeping Shami’s injury in mind. Shami gave his reaction on this on Instagram. While sharing Sanjay’s prediction in his story, he wrote, “Jai Baba. Save a little knowledge for your future also, it will be useful Sanjay ji. If anyone wants to know the future then meet Sir.”

In the 2023 IPL, he became the most successful bowler of the season by taking 28 wickets in 17 matches. However, he could not play the 17th season due to injury, after which the franchise released him.
