IPL 2025: LSG Retained and Released Players List: The last season of IPL was very disappointing for Lucknow Super Giants. After making it to the playoffs in the first two consecutive seasons, the team finished seventh in the points table last season.
There were continuous reports in the media reports that Lucknow KL can release Rahul and Rahul himself does not want to be a part of the franchise. Today when Lucknow Super Giants released the retention list, the fans were not surprised at all. The franchise has retained Nicholas Pooran (21 crore), Ravi Bishnoi (11 crore), Mayank Yadav (11 crore), Mohsin Khan (4 crore) and Ayush Badoni.
Players like KL Rahul, Krunal Pandya, Quinton de Kock and Deepak Hooda have been released. If reports are to be believed, KL Rahul has decided to leave Lucknow due to personal and professional reasons.
