Delhi: Pakistan cricket team’s star pacer Shaheen Afridi has secured the first position in the ICC Men’s ODI Rankings. Due to his excellent performance in the recent ODI series against Australia, Shaheen overtook Keshav Maharaj by jumping three places.
Afridi bowled 26.5 overs in the three-match ODI series against Australia and took a total of 8 wickets at an average of 12.62. His brilliant performance earned him 696 rating points, which is his career best. Apart from Shaheen, Haris Rauf has also jumped 14 places in the ranking. Now he has come to 13th place with 618 rating points.

Despite not playing any ODI since August 2024, three Indian bowlers have retained their places in the top 10. Kuldeep Yadav is in fourth place with 665 rating points. At the same time, Jasprit Bumrah has gained two places, while Mohammed Siraj is joint seventh with Trent Boult with 643 points.
