Delhi: The first match of the three -match ODI series between India and England is being played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. In this match, Indian team’s young bowlers Harshit Rana and Yashasvi Jaiswal got a chance to debut.

England won the toss and chose batting first. Their beginnings were fast, especially Phil Soult and Ben Docket forced the Indian bowlers. England batsmen took an aggressive stance in the initial overs and scored fiercely in one over of Harshit Rana.

Harshit Rana scored 26 runs in one over

England opener Phil Salt scored 26 runs in an over of Harshit Rana. This proved to be the most expensive over for any Indian bowler who made her ODI debut. In this over, Salt hit three sixes and two fours, which increased the pressure on the Indian team.

Harshit made a tremendous comeback

However, Harshit Rana made a great comeback after his initial beating. He blows England’s innings with two big wickets in the 10th over. Harshit first dismissed Ben Docket for 32, whose catch was caught by Yashasvi Jaiswal. After this, he caught Harry Brook out of KL Rahul in the same over. Brook was out without opening an account.
Then on the fourth ball of the 36th over, the young bowler walked Liam Livingstone.

Harshit bowled 7 overs in this match and took a total of 3 wickets for 53 runs.
