Delhi: Former head coach of the Indian team, Ravi Shastri became emotional after seeing his old Audi 100 car during the Supercar Meet held in Mumbai. This is the same car which he received as a prize after winning the World Championship held in Australia in 1985. Shastri drove his historic car in this event and also gave an autograph on its bonnet.
Sharing this experience on social media, Shastri wrote, “After 25 years, my baby. The joy I felt after driving it at the Auto Fest is beyond words. Thanks to Gautam Singhania for this wonderful initiative. It is unbelievable that this car still shines as brightly as it did 40 years ago when we won it.”

India’s @AudiIN – my baby after 25 years! Thrilled to drive it at the Raymond Auto Fest, thanks to @SinghaniaGautam‘s incredible initiative to restore #India‘s vintage gems. Unbelievable how it still shines like it did 40 years ago when India won it. pic.twitter.com/TSLUQmNLsP
