Shubman Gill explained why Zack Croly was called ‘abusive words’ in Lord’s Test:

Delhi: The last time of the third day of the Lord’s Test was very much discussed when England batsmen Zack Crolys were seen repeatedly retreating, so that Bumrah could not attack in the last over. During this time, Indian captain Shubman Gill was seen saying some abuses in anger. Now Shubman Gill has given clarification on this whole matter and has kept his point clearly.

In the press conference before the match, Gill told that the English batsmen did not come to the crease on time. He said, “I want to make one thing clear. That day England batsmen had only 7 minutes of game left. But, they came 90 seconds late. Not 10 or 20, full 90 seconds. Yes, all teams try to save time sometimes. We could also do so in such a situation. But, there is a way.”

Gill further said, “If someone feels a ball and the physio comes, it is fine. But, intentionally coming late is against the spirit of the game.”

Along with this, Shubman gave another big information related to the team. He told that bowlers Akashdeep Grin will not be able to play in this match due to injury. Apart from this, Arshdeep Singh is also not available.

Gill said, “Both Akashdeep and Arshdeep are not available. But we have good players who can take 20 wickets. This is not an ideal situation, but I am ready for it.”

The Indian captain also said that now there are two options in front of the team, famous Krishna and Anshul Kamboj. He said, “He is very close to his debut. We will see who will play Anshul or famous.”

Gill also told that most of the players remain the same for all the conditions. Just one or two changes are made according to the pitch. He said that the team tries to start a good start and good ending.

The fourth Test is very important for India. If India does not win this match, then it will be out of the series because England is already ahead 2–1.
