Regarding the Gabba pitch, Gill said, “This wicket looks fantastic, the players who play here will immediately understand its specialty. “Gabba has always been one of the challenging wickets.”

Shubman mentioned the difficulties faced while playing day-night test and pink ball. He said, “The pink ball is different. It seems more difficult because we are used to red balls. “It is challenging to predict its speed, seam and hand position while playing at night.”

Explaining the importance of mental and physical fitness, Gill said, “The pace at which Test cricket is played here makes it challenging. It is very important to be mentally and physically fit. However, I think it becomes a little easier to last 35 overs till the second new ball.”

Referring to the previous win at Gabba, Shubman said, “If you don’t win then you feel scared, but this generation is not scared after seeing the name of any bowler. We just keep the ball in mind, it doesn’t matter who the bowler is.”

Series tied after Adelaide Test defeat

India had to face defeat by 10 wickets in the day-night test played in Adelaide. However, in the first test, Team India won by 295 runs. Now GABA test can prove decisive.
