Delhi: On January 2, 2019, the great Indian cricket coach Ramakant Achrekar passed away. Now on 3 December 2024, a memorial was unveiled in his dedication in Mumbai. On this occasion, Sachin Tendulkar met his old friend Vinod Kambli. Both Sachin and Kambli learned cricket from Ramakant Achrekar in their childhood and later both played together in the Indian national team.

Meanwhile, PTI has shared a video on social media, which is going viral, in which Sachin Tendulkar is seen meeting and talking to Vinod Kambli. In the video, Kambli’s condition appeared very weak, and it seemed that he was having difficulty even getting up from the chair. A few days ago also a video had surfaced in which Kambli was not able to walk on his own, due to which people on the internet were expressing concern about his health.

Kambli is troubled by the financial crisis

Kambli had told a few years ago that he was facing financial crisis, and his family survives on the pension given by BCCI, which he gets Rs 30,000 per month. Kambli also worked as a mentor at Tendulkar’s Middlesex Global Academy, but he had to leave that job as Nerul was too far from his home.
