Delhi: Former Team India captain Sourav Ganguly has announced the withdrawal of Zee Bangla’s popular show ‘Dadagiri’ as host. This was revealed in an exclusive interview given to News18 Bangla, where Ganguly shared information about his important decision.
Now ‘Dada’ has moved towards a new journey. He will soon be seen in a completely new style on Star Jalsa channel. According to sources, he has signed a record deal of Rs 125 crore with the channel. Under this contract, Sourav Ganguly will be seen hosting ‘Bigg Boss Bangla’ and a new quiz show.
Ganguly said, “I am very excited to join Star Jalsa. We will together try to tell stories in a new way through non-fiction programs.”
He further said, “I have always believed that there is a deep power to connect with people outside the cricket field. This new partnership will give me a great opportunity to connect with the audience through new formats and inspiring stories of real life.”
