Delhi: South Africa A (SA ‘A’) won by 42 runs in the first ODI of their tour against West Indies A thanks to the brilliant performance of Jordan Herman, Cinethemba Kashi, Jason Smith and Mipongwana. The match was played on Wednesday at Darren Sammy Cricket Ground in St. Lucia.
South Africa, losing the toss and scored 283 runs batting first, in response to which the West Indies team was all out for 241 runs. With this victory, the visiting team took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The second match will be played on Saturday.
