Delhi: South Africa cricket selectors have announced their 15-member team for the final of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 against Australia at Lord’s. The final of the third edition of WTC will be played from 11 to 15 June.
The South African team will once again be commanded by Temba Bavuma. The batting order includes trusted names like Aiden Markram, Tony de Jorzi, Ryan Ryan Ricelton, Triston Stabs, Bavuma and David Bedingham. Kyle Verene has been given a chance as a wicketkeeper.
After being found positive in the dope test recently, experienced fast bowler Kagiso Rabada, who faced a month’s suspension, has returned to the team and he will lead South Africa’s bowling attack in the final. At the same time, fast bowler Lungi Angidi has also returned after recovering from injury, which has strengthened the team’s pace attack.
Along with this, all -rounders like Marco Yansen, Corbin Bosch and Vian Mulder also bring depth and diversity in the fast bowling department.
