Delhi: In the exciting match of IPL 2025, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 5 wickets. Batting first, SRH scored 190 runs in 20 overs, but LSG achieved this target in just 16.1 overs. After the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins spoke openly on his team’s performance. He said, “The pitch was a bit different from the previous match, but we had to score fast. Lucknow’s team batted well. It was a good wicket, although the ball was getting a little spin. We had to bat well to reach 190, but we needed a batsman who remained until the entire innings.”

Cummins further said, “Our strategy was good, but the bowlers of Lucknow did not give us a chance to play openly. We came down with 8 batsmen, but we have to perform better. It is a long tournament, we have to learn from our mistakes quickly and move forward.”
