Delhi: The countdown for Champions Trophy 2025 has started. This tournament is going to start from 19th February and it is returning after 8 years. Recently the Indian team was announced, in which Suryakumar Yadav’s name was not there. Now Suryakumar’s reaction has come to light on this.

Suryakumar Yadav’s press conference was held before the five-match T20 series between India and England. India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav said that he is not sad about being dropped from the Indian team for the Champions Trophy 2025. He also said that he got the opportunity, but he could not perform well in ODI cricket, due to which he could not get a place in the team.
If I had performed well I would have been in the team
Suryakumar continued, “If I had performed well, I would have been a part of the Champions Trophy team. If I have not done well, it is important to accept it. All the players in the Champions Trophy 2025 team are in great form and have performed well.”

Haven’t played ODI for a year
Suryakumar Yadav also told that he feels sad to think that he could not perform well. Now it is important that there is a player in that position who can do really well. Suryakumar Yadav has not played ODI cricket for the last one year. His last ODI match was the 2023 World Cup final.
