Delhi: The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) today announced the list of coaches and mentors for T20 Mumbai League 2025. India’s major domestic franchise-based T20 league returning after a six-year long wait is ready to entertain the fans once again. The third season will be played from 26 May to 8 June at the prestigious Wankhede Stadium, in which 8 teams will participate.
Former Indian cricketers Abhishek Nair and Paras Mambre have been appointed as mentors of Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals and ARCS Andheri teams respectively. The experience of both will play an important role in guiding the young talents. The coaching line-up consists of some of Mumbai’s most experienced names, including Omkar Savi (Sobo Mumbai Falkans), Rajesh Pawar (ARCS Andheri), Atul Ranade (Triumph Nights Mumbai North East), Amit Dani (Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals), Prashant Shetty (Eagle Thanan Streakrs), Pravin Tambi (Northa Tanne Panthers) and Vinod Raghavan (Akash Tigers Mumbai Western Subarbs) have been appointed as the head coach of his teams. The head coach of Namo Bandra Blasters will be announced later.
Ajinkya Naik, president of Mumbai Cricket Association, said, “We are committed to promote and empower our local coaches and support staff as MCA, so that they can get more opportunities to develop development and Indian cricket. By improving domestic talent, we want to strengthen the foundation of our cricketing ecosystem and want to prepare the path of constant excellence.
With the registration of more than 2,800 players for the third season of the tournament, MCA is fully prepared to bring out future Indian cricket stars. Recently, MCA has declared Indian captain Rohit Sharma as the official face of season 3.
