Meanwhile, former Indian batsman Robin Uthappa has recently revealed an annoying habit of Dhoni. Uthappa said that Dhoni does not keep a phone, due to which it becomes difficult for him to contact him for anything.

Robin Uthappa, while talking about his relationship with Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Lallantop YouTube channel, said,
“We talk regularly. He doesn’t keep his phone handy which is a very bad and irritating habit. You cannot contact them. “Despite being such close friends, we still have to inform their manager that we are coming.”
Robin Uthappa has played all the matches in international cricket under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. He has also been a part of Chennai Super Kings under the captaincy of Dhoni in the 2021 and 2022 IPL seasons. Uthappa played a big role in India winning the T20 World Cup 2007. At the same time, after winning the T20 World Cup, Dhoni also made India win the 2011 ODI World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy under his captaincy.
Robin Uthappa also talked about his first meeting with Dhoni and said,
“When we sit with them, it seems as if time has not passed. There may be 20 people sitting there, but your connection with them will remain the same. I met him for the first time at the Taj President Hotel during the Challenger Trophy in 2004. S Sriram introduced me to Dhoni. This is how we met. The person I met in 2004 is still the same, when I sit and talk with him, the level of friendship is different.”
