Delhi: The Indian women’s cricket team has announced the squad for the three-match ODI series against Ireland starting from 10 January 2025 in Rajkot. Some changes have been made in the team and some key players have been rested. Apart from this, new players have also been given a chance in the team.

Change and Rest:

Harmanpreet Kaur and Renuka Singh have been rested for this series so that they can be prepared for the upcoming international matches. Along with this, Arundhati Reddy, Shefali Verma and Radha Yadav have also been kept out of the team.

Captain and Vice-Captain:

Smriti Mandhana will captain the Indian team in the ODI series against Ireland, while Deepti Sharma has been given the responsibility of vice-captain.

Opportunity for new faces:

Raghvi Beast and Sayali Satghar have been included in the team. Pratika Rawal and Tanuja Kanwar, who made their debut in the ODI series against West Indies, have also retained their places in the team.
