Team India now has to face New Zealand in the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle. After recently clean sweeping Bangladesh in the 2-match Test series, now Team India is ready for the 3-match Test series to be held against New Zealand. The selection committee of BCCI has announced the squad of the Indian cricket team on Saturday night.
Team India’s squad selected for New Zealand test series
The 3-match Test series between India and New Zealand is going to start from 16th October. Ajit Agarkar and Company have announced a 15-member team for this test series. While Rohit Sharma will once again be seen commanding the team, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been appointed as Rohit Sharma’s deputy.

Showed the way out to Yash Dayal
Young fast bowler Yash Dayal has been shown the door from the team for this Test series. So apart from Bumrah in the team, Mohammed Shami and Akash Deep will be part of the fast bowling attack. There has not been much change in the team and the same squad that played against Bangladesh is visible. Ashwin-Jadeja will be accompanied by Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav in spin bowling. So in batting, apart from captain Rohit, Yashasvi, Shubman, Virat and Rahul are part of the team.
