Delhi: Star player of Indian women’s cricket team Deepti Sharma was appointed on January 27 at the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Deepti is the second cricketer after Mohammad Siraj who has become DSP. The UP government selected him for this post in January last year.
Deepti expressed gratitude while wearing DSP uniform
Deepti was given DSP uniform at a special ceremony in Moradabad. On this occasion, his father Bhagwan Sharma, brother Sumit Sharma and Prashant Sharma were also with him. Deepti thanked the UP government on this occasion and said that she will fulfill her responsibility with full devotion.

Deepti expressed her gratitude through a post on Instagram. He wrote, “I am very grateful to receive this honor. Thank you for my family support and best wishes. These have always been my inspiration. I thank the Uttar Pradesh government who gave me this opportunity. After becoming DSP in UP Police, I will serve with full devotion. Deepti’s cricket journey
Deepti was born in Agra and was interested in cricket since childhood. His brother always supported him. At the age of just 12, he was selected in the UP team. Then in 2014, Deepti was also selected in the Indian women’s cricket team.
