Delhi: The Indian cricket team may play a practice match against Bangladesh or United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Dubai before the ICC Champions Trophy to be held in 2025. According to reports, this match will be a part of the preparations under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, but the date of the match has not been decided yet.
Will compete with Bangladesh or UAE
However, there is a possibility that this match may take place between Bangladesh and India, because both the teams will be present in Dubai. If Bangladesh is not available, India may face competition from UAE.
ICC Champions Trophy 2025 begins
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will start on 19 February and its final match will be played on 9 March. A total of eight teams will participate in this tournament. This Champions Trophy is being organized after eight years. India will start its Champions Trophy against Bangladesh on February 20, which will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

India-Pakistan match on 23 February
After this, India will face Pakistan on 23 February. India will play its third match against New Zealand on March 2. All matches will be held in Dubai.
India will first play ODI series with England
Before the Champions Trophy, India has to play a three-match ODI series against England. The first match of this series will be played in Nagpur on 6th February, while the remaining two matches will be played in Cuttack and Ahmedabad on 9th and 12th February respectively.
