Delhi: The Indian cricket team will play its first match in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 against Bangladesh on 20 February. All the matches of Team India will be held in Dubai. The blue jersey team, which is in Group A, will play its matches against host Pakistan on February 23 and New Zealand on March 2 after Bangladesh.

Before the start of this tournament, the Indian team will also play a practice match, but no information has been revealed yet about which team it will compete against.

According to information received from sources, a practice match will definitely be organized. However, this has not been announced yet and work is underway on the team’s training facilities. It is certain that India will get at least one practice match before the tournament.

The first semi-final will be held in Dubai on March 4 and the second semi-final will be held in Lahore on March 5. If the Indian team qualifies for the final, then the title match will be held in Dubai on March 9. All matches will be day-night, and March 10 has also been kept as a reserve day for the final. This tournament will run for 19 days.

It is noteworthy that till now Champions Trophy has been organized eight times. Its first edition took place in 1998, which was won by South Africa. Last time this tournament was played in 2017, in which Pakistan won.
