Tension escalated for all 10 teams from IPL 2025 to BCCI

IPL 2025 is going to start in a few days. The season of this time will begin from 22 March. The team of Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore will be face to face in the first match. However, the BCCI took a big decision before the season started. This decision is such that after listening to all the franchisees will increase tension.

The BCCI has controlled the practice session for teams for the upcoming season with more than seven sessions. There were no such rules in previous versions. The BCCI has also said that only two practice matches or center wicket practice sessions can be.

The BCCI quoted Cricbuzz in its note that, “Before the first match of the season and as per the stadium agreement, teams may have seven (7) practice sessions over a period of three (3) hours under floodlights, two of which (2) practice matches or team may have open nets. The practice matches will be held on one side wicket of the main square. If a team is playing a practice match under the lights, the duration of the match should not exceed three and half an hour.

As per the operation rules, pre -written approval of BCCI is necessary for practice matches. ” To prepare the pitch for the season, no practice session or practice matches can be played on the main ground four (4) days before the first domestic match of the concerned franchise season. However, at the request of the domestic franchise and the Union of the Union, these days 1 side wicket will be provided for range hitting for each team.

BCCI gave these 4 instructions to IPL teams

1. Teams will get 2 nets in the practice sector and 1 side wicket on the main ground for range of range. For the Mumbai site, if both teams are practicing at the same time, each team will get 2 wickets.

2. No open nets will be allowed.

3. If a team finishes their practice quickly, the other team will not be allowed to use the wicket for their practice.

4. No practice will be allowed during the match days.
