Dhumal also raised the question of who organized the event, as the official ceremony of the IPL ended in Ahmedabad on Tuesday and the tournament for BCCI also ended the same day.

Dhumal said, “As soon as we received the news of this sad incident, we spoke to the organizers and assured that they would end the ceremony as soon as possible. It is very sad and heartbroken. RCB officials also assured me that they will stop the event now.” He further said, “There was no idea of this incident that took place out of the people inside the stadium. We do not even understand how such a large crowd gathered there and who planned the event.”
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah expressed deep condolences, confirming the 11 people killed in the accident. Dhumal said, “The matter will be investigated by the officials concerned. It was not a BCCI, but this incident is very sad. Our sensations are with the affected families.”
