Brook’s journey so far

Brook made his debut for England in January 2022. He has played 26 ODIs so far, scoring 816 runs at an average of 34 and his best score is 110 runs. At the same time, he has played 44 matches in T20, in which his biggest score has been 81 runs. He was also part of the 2022 T20 World Cup winning team.

Currently, the ICC batsman of Brook Test cricket is at number two in the ranking. For the last one year, he was playing the role of vice -captain in England’s ODI and T20 teams. He also led the team as captain in the ODI series against Australia in 2024, when Butler was not available.

Brook was also the captain of the under-19 team earlier and captained England in the Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand in 2018.

BCCI banned before IPL 2025

BCCI has banned Harry Brook for two years from this tournament before the start of IPL 2025. In fact, under the new rules, Brook cannot participate in the IPL auction for the next two years, as he withdrew the name from this season at the last moment. In the mega auction in the Weambar, Delhi Capitals bought him for Rs 6.25 crore.
