These three Indian-origin cricketers arrived in Pakistan before the Champions Trophy: Two from South India then one from UP.

The special thing in this series is that three Indian origin players are also participating in it. In one player Kiwi team, two players are included in the South African team, who belong to India. Indian -origin Rachin Ravindra, who is in the New Zealand team, has stepped on the soil of Pakistan. He scored 25 runs off 19 balls in the first match against Pakistan today. However, after hitting five fours in the innings, he returned to the pavilion.

In this way, players of Indian origin have already stepped before the Champions Trophy on the soil of Pakistan. Rachin Ravindra is of Karnataka origin of India. His father settled from Bangalore to New Zealand, after which Rachin Ravindra stayed there and made his career in cricket.

Muttusami is in the role of all -rounder

The South Africa team will play their first match against the Kiwi team on 10 February. South Africa’s team consists of two players of Indian origin. Senuran Muttusamy is of Tamil Nadu origin. His family belongs to Nagapattinam district of Tamil Nadu. The family settled from Tamil Nadu to South Africa decades ago and Muttusamy stayed here and made a place in the national team of South Africa in cricket.

Maharaj came into the limelight after being written on the bat

Apart from Muttusamy, there is another Indian -origin player in the African team who has caught everyone’s attention with his best batting and bowling in the last few years. Keshav Maharaj emerged as a shining star in the Cricket World Cup held in India in 2023. Keshav Maharaj came into the discussions after being written on his son in the match against Pakistan. After which he told that he is a devotee of Hanuman ji. Keshav Maharaj is in the African team as an all -rounder. Keshav belongs to Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh in India. His family settled in 1874 from UP to Durban in Africa.
