Delhi: Nitish Kumar Reddy performed brilliantly in his first Test series against Australia, due to which he was praised a lot. His struggling century in Melbourne further strengthened his identity. Now this young batsman is ready to make a comeback in domestic cricket and he can play in the second phase of 2023-24 Ranji Trophy.

Nitish will play for Andhra Pradesh

According to PTI, Nitish played only one match in the current Ranji season, but after his excellent performance on the Australia tour, he may feature in two important matches for the Andhra Pradesh team in late January. Andhra will play matches against Puducherry on 23 January and Rajasthan on 30 January. Both these matches are very important for their team, because Andhra is currently ranked seventh in the Group B table, they have only four points and they have lost three out of five matches.

In the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, Nitish showed great patience in difficult situations. His century in the Melbourne Test was memorable, in which he bravely faced the Australian bowlers and put the team in a strong position.
