Delhi: Former Indian batsman Saurabh Tiwari and spinner Shahbaz Nadeem have been elected as Secretary and Joint Secretary of Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA).

Saurabh Tiwari and Shahbaz Nadeem retired from international cricket in 2024. 35 -year -old left -handed batsman Tiwari played three ODIs for India after making his debut against Australia in Visakhapatnam in 2010. At the same time, left -arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem made a Test debut against South Africa in 2019 and played two Test matches for India.

Tiwari announced his retirement from professional cricket in February 2024. He represented Jharkhand for 17 years and captained the team in all formats (in 88 matches). He was also a part of four different IPL franchises.

On the other hand, Nadeem also retired from all formats of cricket in March 2024. He made his debut in first class cricket at the age of 15 in 2004-05.

In the elections for the new executive, Tiwari won a big win by defeating his rival SB Singh by a margin of 438-194. At the same time, Nadeem also won a big victory for the post of Joint Secretary and he defeated Rajkumar Sharma 409-199.
