Delhi: Indian team’s experienced fast bowler Umesh Yadav has expressed his disappointment over not being bought by any team in IPL 2025. 37 year old Umesh Yadav has been a regular part of IPL since 2010. But this time, no franchise bought him in the mega auction held in November.
Umesh Yadav’s statement
Umesh Yadav said in his reaction, “I was not selected this year, it is quite surprising for me. I have been playing IPL for the last 15 years. Why would I lie? Despite playing for such a long time and being close to 150 wickets, it feels bad if you are not selected.”
He further said, “This is the decision of the franchise and their strategy. My name came up at the end of the auction, and perhaps they had no money left. I was definitely disappointed, but I cannot change this decision.”
