Delhi: India’s young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has registered his name in cricket history. He has set a record to score the youngest half -century in the first young Test match against England and become a wicket -taking player.

Record at the age of 14, Mehdi Hasan Miraz left behind
With this brilliant performance, Suryavanshi has become the first player to score a half -century in the youth Test at the age of 14 and take a wicket. Earlier, this record was named after Mehdi Hasan Miraz of Bangladesh, who achieved this feat against Sri Lanka at 15 years and 167 days in Mirpur in 2013.

This is the world record of scoring a century in T20 cricket and is the fastest century of an Indian batsman in the IPL. In this innings, he hit 7 fours and 11 sixes. This is also the second fastest century in IPL history, only Chris Gayle (30 balls) is ahead of him.
Not only this, Suryavanshi started his IPL career against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on 19 April 2025 at the age of 14 years and 23 days.
