Samson was out of some matches due to injury. In his absence, Vaibhav Suryavanshi performed amazing. He scored a century in just 35 balls against Gujarat Titans (GT) and became the youngest player in T20 cricket. After this, he came in everyone’s eyes.
Samson said after the toss, “If someone does something special, then he should not see his age. I respect him and will bat down myself.”
However, Suryavanshi’s form has been a bit weak in the last few matches. He was dismissed without opening an account against Mumbai and scored only 4 runs against Kolkata. But Samson shows confidence in them, it tells that the team wants to prepare them for the future.
