In the match played against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kohli scored 43 runs in 25 balls. In this innings, he hit 7 fours and 1 six. With this, he has completed his 800 fours in T20 cricket for RCB. He has become the first batsman in the world to do so to have 800 fours for one T20 team.

Earlier, James Vince hit 694 fours for Hampshire, while Alex Hales hit 563 for Nottinghamshire and Rohit Sharma has hit 550 fours for Mumbai Indians.
Kohli has so far scored 8552 runs in 264 matches in IPL, including 8 centuries and 62 half -centuries. He is the highest run and the highest century batsman in this league. In the current season too, he has scored 548 runs and has played excellent innings especially.
