According to reports, BCCI had asked Kohli not to take retirement decision right now, as India has a tour of England next month. However, Kohli decided to separate himself from the Test after a magnificent 14 -year career.
Virat did emotional post
Virat gave this information by sharing the post on Instagram. He wrote, “14 years ago I wore a blue cap for India for the first time in Test cricket. I never felt that this journey would teach so much. This format tested me, handled and given many lessons of life.”
Kohli further wrote, “Playing in the white jersey of Test cricket is a different experience. Spending a long time on the field, working quietly and the short moments that no one sees, but always remember.”
He said, “Now that I am going away from this format, the heart is heavy but it takes the right time. I gave it everything and it returned me more than that.”
“I am going with thanks – of this game, with whom the field is distributed, and every person who made me feel that I am special. I will always remember my Test career with a smile. #269, Signing of.”
Virat’s Test cricket career
