In the final, Kohli’s significant innings of 43 off 35 balls helped RCB score a challenging score of 190/9 in 20 overs. The bowling unit defended the score, in which Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and others took crucial wickets.
Punjab Kings finished the innings at 184/7 despite Shashank Singh’s brilliant 61 -run innings, and the victory remained away by six runs. The win is the first IPL title for Virat Kohli, which has been with RCB since 2008 and has lost three times before.
