The family got emotional
His father Mutyala Reddy became emotional on Reddy’s century. Sharing his feelings with tears of joy in his eyes, he said, “This is a very special day for our family. Nitish has been playing well since the beginning, but this moment in international cricket is very special for us. When he was on 99 and only one wicket was left, I was very nervous. Thankfully, Siraj supported him and he could complete his century.
Along with Nitish’s father, the rest of his family was also present there, who expressed their happiness.
By the end of the day’s play, India had scored 358 runs at the loss of 9 wickets. Reddy is playing unbeaten on 105 runs and Siraj is supporting him with 2 runs. India is currently 116 runs behind.
